Ahmed Ghaleb Kadhim (Arabic احمد غالب كاظم), born in Iraq 6 December 1989, is an Arab activist against electronic blackmail.[1][2][3] He was part of the peaceful demonistration that started the 1st of October 2019 against the Iraqi government. He was kidnapped by unknown people because of his active role in the demonstration.[4][5]

Ahmed's life[edit]

The Arab Women Media Network, whose membership includes 18 Arab countries, chose Iraqi journalist Ahmed Ghaleb Kazem Known as "Ahmed Al-Ghaleb" the best fighter for e-blackmail in the Arab world. Ahmed Ghaleb is the best fighter for electronic blackmail due to his successes in this regard, especially that the Arab media and the international benefit from his experiences in its television programs as he is a professional information security researcher despite his young age.[6] He was rewarded the best Activist against electronic blackmail in December 2019.[7][8]

Due to his participation in the demonistration against the Iraqi government, Ahmed was kidnapped in Baghdad in 26 December 2019 by an unknown group.[9]

On December 26, 2019, Ahmed was on his way home when he was suddenly kidnapped by a group of armed men wearing civilian clothes and forced into the trunk of a black SUV vehicle. His kidnapping was filmed by a camera installed in the neighbourhood where he normally resides.[4]

According to Ahmed's Social Media, in March 2020, he was released with no major injury.[10]
