Haider Alnuaimi (Arabic: حيدر النعيمي) (born in 1980, in Baghdad), is an Iraqi journalist specializes in the artistic media field. He holds bachelor certificate at biology from University of Baghdad.[1] He joined the journalistic life in 2003.[2] He immigrated to Syria where he stayed at Damascus two years from 2006 until 2007.[1] He worked there as a teacher in science in one of the Damascus’ schools as well as his journalistic work. He has more than 16 years in the journalistic life. He is married and has two daughters.[3]
Life and career[edit]
Haider Alnuaimi's passion for literature has begun since he was four years. He began to read stories and novels. After completing the University and his graduation from the University of Baghdad- Department of Biology,[1] he worked in the field of sport. He began to work in 2003,[4] starting his first interview with the Iraqi football team player "Razzaq Farhan" and "Ahmed Kadhim". He had continued in the sport working for ten years, what Music Nation agency wrote about him "He is known in his country as one of the prominent journalists in the field of sports journalism, as he was one of its knights from 2003 until 2010, who witnessed his divorce from her completely, heading towards the world of arts journalism, a world that is not strange to him as he practiced writing in this region for the Emirati newspaper Al Khaleej as a correspondent for the Baghdad office 2005 and 2006 in dialogues that achieved a Gulf presence at the time", turning to the arts journalism and the life of famous actors and actresses.[1]

He turned from the written journalism into the television working in the Iraqi News Agency as an official for the department of culture and art.[2]
Forums, training courses and festivals[edit]
- Participated in the activities of the Youth Arab Homeland Forum for the media training via Zoom under the auspice of Ministry of Youth and Sports with the participation of the Arab states with more than 339 young people as an honor guest for the voice commenting.[32]
- Participated in the festival of Mawazeen festival in Morocco in 2013 as an artistic journalistic represented Iraq. Haider Alnuaimi interviewed with Enrique Iglesias.[33]
Al-Hilal Golden Award[edit]
Haider Alnuaimi is the founder and creator of the idea of Al-Hilal Golden Award which is an annual festival that is held during Ramadhan to celebrate the best Iraqi drama and programs shown in the Iraqi satellite channels. The first festival was held in 2019. It was under the name of the pioneering Iraqi artist, "Rasim Al-Jumaili".[34] The event of the festival, attended by the Iraqi elite of actors, actresses, journalists, governmental officials and businessmen, was held in Babylon Hotel in Baghdad. The second session was held in 2020 under the pioneering Iraqi actress, "Bahjat Al Jubouri". The festival was held in Baghdad.[35]
