Aimeos is an open source software library which offers a full set of e-commerce components for PHP applications. It's optimized for speed and scalability[4] and can be integrated into existing web applications.[5]

    History[edit]

The first official package named "Arcavias" has been made public in 2012[6] under the LGPL licence. In March 2014, the first stable version of the core has been released.[7] Since October 2014, the software library named "Aimeos"[8] is continued by independent software developers[9] and has been integrated into several PHP frameworks.
