2012 - airSlate reaches 10,000 customers.[25]
2017 - the company receives a $40 mln investment from the General Catalyst venture fund.[26] airSlate acquires the signNow B2B eSignature product.[27]
2018 - pdfFiller is renamed to airSlate and starts offering an end-to-end workflow automation platform. The rebranding was done to emphasize that its services were not limited to PDF processing.[28]
2019 - airSlate acquires US Legal Forms, offering all customers full access to its over 85,000 forms. US Legal Forms is the largest library of forms available online.[29]
2021 - airSlate reaches a headcount of over 900 team members. Its user base grows to over 100 million worldwide.[30]
2022 - airSlate closes a $51.5 million Series C led by G Squared with a $1.25 billion valuation, thus becoming a unicorn.[31][32][33] airSlate acquires DocHub, a Google Workspace subscription platform that allows organizations to edit and sign PDF documents.[34]

In January 2021, airSlate raised $40 million from backers including Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, General Catalyst, and HighSage Ventures to invest in additional product functionality and further expand its international reach.[35] The company has raised a total of $181.5 million to date.[36]
In February 2021, airSlate raised $50 million in debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank.[37]
In June 2022, airSlate completed $51.5 million financing with G Squared, UiPath.[38][39]
