Description
Airfox is a web browser. Developed in the Microsoft .NET Runtime Environment, Airfox uses the Gecko Engine also seen in some well-known browsers such as Firefox, Waterfox, Pale Moon. Some advanced features such as a Reliable Download Manager are not available yet due to restrictions from the GeckoFX runtime, but as seen from the results of the futuremark, acid 3 & acid 2 tests, Airfox’s scores/rankings are meritorious.
Development Status
As of 21/1/2015, the v1.5 LTS of Airfox is being tested. It will feature some helpful apps like an Email Client, an IRC Client, an HTML Editor etc. This concept is derived from the Mozilla Application Suite. The expected release date of v1.5 LTS is 27/1/2015
Developing Team
Airfox is brought to you by Mike Gounelas and Charis Papadakis, junior high students from Piraeus, Greece.
