Leantime is a project management web application software designed for startups and creative organisations. Leantime is written in PHP and Javascript with MariaDB/MySQL as a database, and is released as open source software. All components of Leantime are available as open-source, rather than an open-core or Freemium model.
The Leantime workflow supports users to document ideas, then research and challenge them. Out of this come projects and tasks, which are managed using a Kanban-type system and reviewed using the project management technique of 'retrospectives'. Leantime also offers time tracking and reporting features.
