Ajay Agrahari (born in 1984) is an IT professional works with IQVIA New Zealand and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Ajay Agrahari is an Indian-born New Zealand citizen who was born in a town cum village of Domariaganj, Uttar Pradesh in India and currently lives in New Zealand. Ajay Agrahari did his Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He also attended Kawai Purapura, New Zealand where he completed his Yoga Teacher Training.
Youth delegate in Yuva Pravasi Bhartiya Divas[edit]
Upon the invitation from the Government of India, Ajay Agrahari represented as a Youth delegate at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2019 held in Varanasi, India.[2]

Ajay Agarhari has been constantly in the news for his contribution to promotion of Yoga and Indian food and culture world wide. India's leading newspaper Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, and local news portal Kapilvastu Post published a feature story on his successful journey from small town to working with one of the world's largest contract research organisations and his contributions to yoga on a global level.[3][4][5]
Yogathon New Zealand[edit]
Yogathon New Zealand has been organising the nationwide ‘Health for Humanity’ Yogathon since 2011, with the aim to increase awareness about the science of yoga, and its techniques in facilitating a healthy body, mind, and spirit in balance with each other. [6] Ajay Agrahari as a national coordinator has been organising this national yoga awareness event, Yogathon in year 2019 and 2020, for all of New Zealand, which became a huge success and was very well received in New Zealand.
