Shree Ajay Kumar Dey, follower of Gaudiya Vaishnavism and a disciple of Srila Nayananda Goswami sect, nephew of Srila Gadadhara Pandit Goswami, preacher and Indian spiritual teacher. He has contributed as a poet, essayist, author, novelist, magazine editor, art and history researcher in Indian mythology and Bengali literature. He wrote verses under the pen name "Pranavanandan".[1]

Early life and family

The poet was born on 22 September 1992[1] in a very poor family in Poradanga village of Baharampur subdivision under Murshidabad district. Father Laxman Chandra Dey and mother Mamata Devi. During his education, he passed Class V in 2004 from Poradanga Primary School, Secondary in 2009 from Satui Rajendra Narayan High School and Higher Secondary in Science in 2011. He has graduated in Science Chemistry from Sripat Singh Mahavidyalaya (Kalyani University) in 2014.

Career

He worked as a part-time teacher in Chemistry at Satui Rajendra Narayan High School. Currently he is a dairy chemist at an Indian dairy cooperative and working as an Indian spiritual teacher.

Awards and recognition

He has published biographies of Sripat Bharatpur and Srila Gadadhar Pandit and research papers and information on Gaudiya Vaishnava Padabali which have been well received and are playing a prominent role in modern Bengali literature. The list of honors is particularly noteworthy. As a poet he has been awarded for writing poetry since his school life. He has been awarded and honored by practicing Bengali literature in various literary magazines and newspapers.
