Ajith Vinayaka Films (AVF) is an Indian film production and distribution company founded by Ajithkumar Sudhakaran and Sarath Kumar in 2020. It mainly produces and distributes Malayalam language films. The company has grown into one of the biggest production houses of Kerala with films like Nivin Pauly' s[2] Saturday Night, award-winning director Priyanandanan's Dhabari Quruvi, Anarkali Marikar's sci-fi Gaganachari.[3] and actor Dileep's biggest film till date, Bandra[4]
Ironically, the production company is now known for two of the biggest flops of Malayalam films, Saturday Night and Bandra.[5]
The producer, Ajithkumar, filed a petition in court on 15 November, demanding action against seven vloggers who gave negative reviews against his film Bandra, alleging that, negative reviews turned his film, a commercial disaster.[6][7][8] His Gaganachari won the 2023 special jury Kerala State Film Awards for its innovative storytelling.[9]
