Akash Thapa (born August 14, 2004), also known as Naughty Thapa, is a professional Nepalese dancer from Dehradun, India, and became known when he was finalist of Super Dancer season 2 in 2017.

Life and career

Akash started dancing at the age of three and showcased his talents in various events. He has done his schooling from Police Modern School. He is a Chhetri (Native Nepali Rajput) and has two sisters, Varsha Thapa, and Megha Thapa. His father’s name is Pradeep Thapa, and he was a soldier in the Indian army and his mother’s name is Meena Thapa, who is a housewife.

He also loves to play video games. He started dancing at the very young age of 3 and took part in many events where he showcased his talent. His favorite choreographer is Dharmesh Yelande as a child, he used to copy the steps of Dharmesh when watching him on television.

In 2017, he participated in a dance reality show Super Dancer Season 2 with his guru, Guru Vivek and reached the top 4. He got the name Naughty Thapa from there. Akash’s mother disclosed that Akash does naughty things to get a reaction out of his sister, Varsha.
