Akhand Jharkhand People's Front
The Akhand Jharkhand People's Front is a political party in Jamui, Bihar, India. The founding convenor of AJPF was former Munger MP Maharaja Pratap Singh.[1][2][3] Singh founded AJPF on May 30, 1997.[1] The party demanded that Jamui-Banka be merged with Jharkhand.[1] The party organized a mass meeting at KMM College in Jamui on its first anniversary, which was attended by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Shibu Soren.[1]
AJPF contested the February 2005 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, fielding seven candidates whom together mustered 9,800 votes (1.32% in the seats contested).[4]
Singh retired from politics in 2005.[1] Lucas Soren served as the District Chairman of the party.[1][5][6][7][8]
