Akhgar (فارسی:اخگر) gun is a 7.62 mm six-barreled gun made in Iran. These weapons are colloquially known as Gatling guns.[1] [2]

It has a sighting range of 1 km and can fire up to 6,000 rounds per minute. Of course, the machine gun is also copied from the United States. The Akhgar is a copy of the M13 Minigun. The machine gun should be helpful in the fight against enemy helicopters and planes. Meanwhile, Iran has not demonstrated the in-flight performance of the Akhgar. The technology may not be ready yet.[3] [4]

The power to rotate its tubes is obtained from an electric motor. The complete construction, manufacture and operation of the 6-iron gun is a good introduction to the development of a larger caliber sample of this gun for land and air defense, especially for use on naval ships[5]

The commander of the ground forces of the Iranian army says: Because mobility is one of the principles of Asymmetric warfare, we needed to animate this That's why the Rangers car was designed and produced.[4]
