The AIKS or ABKS was initially founded as Akhil Bharatiya Khatik Samaj. Many freedom fighters, social activist from Khatik community took interest to founding ABKS: (1) Raghunath Jadhav, (Nasik, Maharashtra), (2) Rajnath Sonkar Shastri, (Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh), (3) Mamchand Rewadiya, (Delhi), (4) Jyoti Prasad Sonkar, (Delhi), (5) Gangaram Nirvan, (Delhi), (6) RK Kalyankar, (Simoga, Karnataka), (7) Narayan Prasad Chaudhary, (Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh), (8) Ramsharan Verma, (Dehradun, Uttrakhand), (9) S.
