Akiva Novick

Akiva Novick (born 16 August 1988) is an Israeli journalist working for the Kan 11 Broadcasting Corporation. Previously, he was the parliamentary correspondent for News 13.[1]
Early life[edit]
Novick was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ofra. He is the son of Yitzhak Novik, one of the convicts of the Jewish underground. He was a trainee at Bnei Akiva, studied at a high school in Haspin and a pre-military training school in Paduel.
Career[edit]
In 2007, he enlisted in the IDF at the end of the course in September 2007, he was assigned as a reporter in the soldiers and army department. During his service, he served as the second reporter for military affairs, editor and producer in the military department, among other things, for the programs "Mother's Voice", "The Security Belt" and "Area Six". After his release in August 2010, he began working for Yedioth Ahronoth, where he served as a correspondent for Judea and Samaria Area and a correspondent for religious affairs. In 2014, he was appointed as the newspaper's parliamentary reporter. Previously, he was a guest host on Aral Sengal's program "La Sotum Thapa" broadcast on the Gali radio station Israel In June 2015 he was appointed as the parliamentary reporter for News 10.
Eurovision[edit]
Akiva served as the commentator for Eurovision Song Contest 2021, with Asaf Liberman and again in 2022. He is currently set to commentate in Liverpool 2023.
