Al-Barkaat Malik Muhammad Islam English School is a co-educational school located in Kurla, Mumbai.[1] It is an English medium school that also provides Islamic teaching. The school is currently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus, imparting education till the 10th grade. It is a day school, having over 700 students studying. The school also has a child psychiatrist to provide guidance to children throughout their schooling. The school has initiated an English course for parents to cope up with their children.[2]

Al-Barkaat Malik Muhammad Islam English School was founded in 2006 and is being managed by the Rehbar foundation. The school was started with a small batch of 300 students. Today, there are over 700 students studying.[2][3]
Facilities[edit]
The school has spacious classrooms, a water purifier, a play area, an audio-video room, transport facilities, and a library. It also provides indoor sports games. There is also a large playground for football, volleyball, handball, hockey and other seasonal games. Apart from this, the school has a team of teachers who are well trained and educated in the field of child development.[3]
Achievement[edit]
The Rehbar foundation has been awarded for Iconic NGO of the year 2018 on 22 March by MSME. (Micro Small Medium Enterprises)[4]
