Al-Ishlah Mosque (Indonesian: Masjid Al-Ishlah) is a mosque in Kelapapati, in the village of Bengkalis, Indonesia. It was founded by Zakaria bin Muhammad Amin to provide Islamic education as the successor of MDTA Mahbatul Ulum.
History[edit]
Al-Ishlah Mosque was established in 1984 by Zakaria bin Muhammad Amin with the aim of providing Islamic religious education to society as a successor of MDTA Mahbatul Ulum, an Islamic school Zakaria established in 1963.[1]
Apart from teaching at the mosque, Zakaria also gives recitations at several other mosques and prayer rooms.[1][2]
On 28 August 2020, the mosque was used for Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (literally National Amil Zakat Agency; BAZNAS) Islamic guidance class.[3] The class began on 29 August with Parhimpunan Rambe as the preacher.[3]
