Alec Attari is a Turkish composer and DJ based in Istanbul, and an electronic music artist.
Biography
Alec Attari, who released his first EP titled A.R.4.I.A under Verkenner Records in 2015, signed a contract with Big Mama's Records after achieving success. Under Big Mama's Records, two more EPs titled Social Distortion and A Man in The Dark were released. With his success, Alec performed in many cities including Milan, Paris, and Beirut.
His albums Les enfants and Industry, Technology were released in CD format in France and achieved good sales figures. In 2019, Alec Attari released his EP titled Man on a Mission, which was sold in both vinyl and CD versions in addition to digital platforms. When vinyl sales were high in Italy and France, a reissue was made. After this EP, he did not release any work for a while. He then released Savage after a two-year break.
In 2022, he released his track titled Paris 88, which was remixed by People Theatre, under the label So French Records. Alec, who draws inspiration from many names such as Alexander Robotnick, Rex the Dog, and David Carretta, and shares the stage with them, incorporates many traces of Italian and French electronic music culture into his music. In 2017, he succeeded in making it to Apple's top 10 list by remixing the track Baby Run by the Italian duo Sem&Stenn. Between 2021–2022, he was the creator of many parties with the collective Jerzz in Istanbul.
The following year, he established a record label named Jerzz Records with the same collective. He announced the release of his first EP from the record label, Audity, in 2023.
