Alex Cvetkovic (born 29 November 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for CS Fola Esch in Luxembourg National Division which is the highest football league in Luxembourg football league system and until 2011 it was known as the BGL Ligue.
Youth development
In his early Premier Academy League years, Cvetkovic was fully registered with three major Association football clubs in England with whom he regularly played in all competitions;

2011 to 2013
In his seven year continuous youth development period with all three clubs, Cvetkovic featured in combined total of 111 games in all competitions.
Professional engagement
During 2013 - 2014 season Cvetkovic (then still at U17 level) was offered to sign his first professional contract with Wigan Athletic F.C. who were at the time the actual winners and holders of the FA Cup - and on 24th March 2014 the club registered him via The Football Association as the professional footballer with the English Football League.
Although Cvetkovic mainly carried on playing with the Youth Team and the Reserves because of his age, during the 2014 - 2015 preseason, Cvetkovic signed an extension to his professional contract on the 2nd July 2014 for the following year and in total featured 33 times scoring 8 goals combined.
Current club
After leaving Wigan a number of opportunities in the UK and abroad followed and already by the end of 2015 - 2016 season Cvetkovic was fully training with several UEFA Europa League clubs, having then the best offer presented itself at the highest level of Luxembourg football league system where 2015 Champions CS Fola Esch offered him the contract promising regular 1st team league football and prospect of additional European competitions where the club regularly featured lately in both the UEFA Champions League last year and the UEFA Europa League this year.
Cvetkovic completed his signing to CS Fola Esch on the 24th July 2016 and within his first two months there played for the 1st team in five League matches, one Cup game ("... Cvetkovic mastered the task ..." Luxemburger Wort.), international friendly against FC Metz, two Luxembourg National Division friendlies as well as in two league games with the reserves scoring 5 goals in total from 11 appearances in all competitions.
