Alex Rose Wiesel (born July 20, 1988) is an American actress.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Wiesel was born and raised in Del Mar, California. She began her career in musical theatre productions in the San Diego area. She attended AMDA ( American Musical and Dramatic Academy), obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts from The New School University, New York and her Masters of Art from California State University, Northridge.[1] She resides in Los Angeles with her dog, Victoria Barkham.[2]

Career[edit]

Wiesel made her screen acting debut in 2011 on Showtime's Dexter and Chelsea Handler's scripted reality series After Lately playing Chris' daughter.[1]

She continued in comedy on screen 2011 in Disney's So Random, 2014 in CBS Two and a Half Men and 2015 in CW's Hart of Dixie.[3][4][5]

In 2018 Wiesel starred in Brat's multicamera series, Hotel DuLoone.[6][7]

On stage she has been a MainStage/company member at Los Angeles Comedy theaters including; iO West, Second City, Nerdist, UCB, and has traveled internationally with her all female improvisational comedy team, Pumps.[8][9]

She's also been seen in a number of television commercials including an add for the fast food chain Carl's Jr.[10][11]
