Alexa Valentino
Alexa Valentino is an American actress and songwriter from New York. She is represented by Lampiasi Talent Management.[1] Her songs explore complex themes such as mental health, relationships, and personal struggles. In 2019, she opened a music school after her piano teacher said she should teach children; the school teaches piano, voice, and songwriting, both virtually and in person. In 2022, she won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest Song of the Year for her song "Dear Love".
Valentino has been performing regional and off-Broadway productions since she was four years old, including Annie, Seussical, and Les Misérables.[2][3] She has also been in various commercials.
Valentino is part of an anti-bullying campaign called Free2luv. Its mission is to support youth and prevent bullying.[4] She joined this group because she witnessed the bullying of a special needs student in second grade.[5]
