Alexander Jobst

Alexander Jobst is the current Chief Marketing Officer for Schalke 04. He was born in Fulda, Germany on 24 September 1973. Alexander Jobst passed his Abitur at the Marianum in 1993. Jobst, who comes from Fulda, then studied in Bayreuth with a degree in sports economics. He graduated in 2000.[1] He was appointed in 2011 as the Chief marketing officer for Schalke 04. His contract lasts until 2024.[2]

Between the years 2000-2005 he was the Global Sponsorship Manager for Siemens AG. Between 2005 and 2007 he was the Head of International Development for Real Madrid CF. From 2007 to 2011 he was the Head of Sales for FIFA.[2] He is a fan of Eintracht Frankfurt. He lived with his wife and daughter in Zurich when he worked as the Chief of Sales for FIFA.[1] From 2011, he worked as Chief Marketing Officer for Schalke 04 but announced his departure from the club in April 2021.[3]
