Alhaj Minnatullah (1898 – 1997) was a social worker specializing in the field of education.[1] In the late 1960s, he started a Madarsa to spread Islamic education alongside the local state government curriculum for children at Jajmau, Uttar Pradesh. The foundation of the institution was laid as Darul Talim and Sanaat (DTS) primary school at Jajmau, Uttar Pradesh.[2] In 2011, the school progressed fully to DTS Inter College, promoting education for boys and girls.[3]
Haji Minnatullah was born in Village Kath Taraon, Mau, Uttar Pradesh (1889). In 1918, he moved from his birth place to Kanpur, starting a business that dealt with hide tanning at Jajmau, Kanpur.[4]
Death
Alhaj Minnatullah died in 1997 and was buried in Jajmau, Kanpur.[1]
