He was signed to Relentless Records (Sony Music UK).[2]
Early life
Kumar is of Bangladeshi and Indian descent and was born and raised in a Bengali Muslim family living in Brixton, London.[3][2]
Career
As a social media influencer, Koomz is known for creating his own phrases as well as promoting Multicultural London English such as "trimzino".[4] Another example is the word "peakly", after a controversial video he released on his social media after his car was attacked by two men. His house was also robbed at knifepoint and he released a public video in reference to the attack.[5] Grime was also an important part of his career before Afroswing.[6]
