Alhamra Unplugged is a Pakistani musical platform for talented vocalists and musicians launched by the government of Punjab, Pakistan to develop the youth talent through music talent hunt program.[1][2][3][4]

History[edit]

After other platforms like Coke Studio and Nescafe Basement etc., Government of Punjab, Pakistan has taken a step to initiate the project " Alhamra Unplugged Season 1 ".[5][6][7] This project launched by Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore.[8][9][10]

Alhamra Unplugged Season 1[edit]

Alhamra Unplugged Season 1 launched on 1 April in Alhamra Arts Council.[11][12][13] Eight songs are included in Alhamra Unplugged Season 1.[1] It takes "Justin Sisters" on board who are Pakistani girls who astonished the world by singing Justin Bieber English song "Baby" better than Original and get viral on social media.[14][15][16][17]
