Ali Asghar Aarabi (Persian: علیاصغر اعرابی; born 29 February 1996) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Sepahan S.C. in the Persian Gulf Pro League.[1][2]
Early life
Aarabi was born on 29 February 1996 in the village of Absardeh, Ardal County, in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. He is of Qashqai heritage.
Club career
Aarabi began his senior career with Qashqai in the 2021–22 season. He then joined Shams Azar for the 2022–23 campaign.[3]
In 2023, he signed with Sepahan S.C. and featured in the Persian Gulf Pro League.[4]
He briefly moved to Foolad F.C. in 2024[5] before returning to Sepahan later the same year.[6]
International career
As of September 2025, Aarabi has not represented Iran at the senior international level.
Playing style
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Aarabi is noted for his speed and dribbling ability.[1]
