Jesse Akubuine (born 8 March 1998) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Career[edit]
After playing for Brentford and Peterborough United,[2][3] Akubuine signed for Queen of the South in August 2016.[4]
During the second half of the 2016–17 season, Akubuine joined South of Scotland League club Dalbeattie Star on loan.[5][6]
Akubuine made his Scottish Championship debut on 5 August 2017, as a late substitute as Queen of the South defeated Brechin City 4–1.[1]
On 26 January 2018, Akubuine joined Lowland League club BSC Glasgow on a development loan for the remainder of the 2017–18 season.[7]
Akubuine was released by Queens at the end of the 2017–18 season after only one league appearance.[8]
In September 2018, Akubuine signed for Cumbernauld Colts.[9] He joined AFC Rushden & Diamonds in July 2019.[10]
