Alice in Wonderland is a 1995 46-minute animated film based on the 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Originally released directly to video, the movie was produced by Jetlag Productions and was distributed to DVD in 2002 by GoodTimes Entertainment as part of their "Collectible Classics" line.[1][2]
Plot[edit]
A young girl named Alice is tired of sitting by the river bank with nothing to do while her elder sister reads to her. Suddenly, a curious white rabbit wearing clothes and carrying a pocket watch appears, and thinking it could be more fun than being read to, Alice decides to follow the white rabbit into his rabbit hole. Alice soon finds herself falling down what seems like an endless tunnel, and when she reaches the other side, she finds herself in Wonderland, where she meets all sorts of interesting and mad characters. She joins the Mad Hatter and the March Hare for an unusual tea party, plays an unfair game of croquet with the Queen of Hearts and attends the trial of the Knave of Hearts, who has been accused of stealing the Queen's tarts, all on a summer day.
