Born between 1073 and 1076[1] Orderic Vitalis recalls her parentage as well as her marriage and identifies her two boys as well as indicating she had "many daughters" without identifying them. Judith, Waltheof's daughter and his wife, married "Raoul de Ternois," according to Guillaume de Jumièges. The marriage of Alice, younger daughter of Judith, and "Rodolph de Tournay" is recorded in Ingulph's Chronicle of the Abbey of Croyland, with her dowry being "the lordship of Wilchamstowe." Walthamstow, Essex, was her inheritance.[2]
She was the wife of Raoul IV de Conches.
