Alireza Khanjari (Persian: علیرضا خنجری[1], born 21 September 1983) is an Iranian TV Presenter and Writer who created a TV character with the name of “Science Cook”[2] who dressed up as a Chef, and not only didn’t cook at all, but also by using the kitchen appliances simplified science topics that everybody could understand. He started his professional activities as a TV Presenter since 2010.
Biography[edit]
Ever since childhood, he always thought that if a person was born and did not invent anything and then die, he has lived in vain. so he always try in his life to be Initiator. "Science Cook" character based on this thinking has been created. personally, He is curious, and This characteristic along with his interest in science, always encourage him to discover science issues.he started his professional activities with the Tolou[3] TV morning show in IRIBTV4 ( The Iranian national TV Channel FOUR). “Tolou[4][5]” was a live scientific TV program which was aired on television every day at 7 to 9 am. Because of his interest to scientific issues, he has continued his professional activities as TV Presenter and Writer in several scientific TV programs such as Pangan[6][7][8]which was aired in IRIBTV4, Dorj[9][10]which was aired in IRIBTV4, Ordibehesht[11] which was aired in IRIBTV4, Fasl Dnaei[12][13]which was aired in IRIBTV4,Rooz az no[14][15]which was aired in IRIBTV2, Elexir which was aired in IRIBTV3, Khanevade1[16][17] which was aired in IRIBTV1 and motor jostojo [18] which was aired in IRIBTV7 so far.
Creation of Science Cook TV Character[edit]
Creation of "Science Cook"[19] character was a turning point in his artistic activities. In 2015, he was invited to present in one of the famous TV program named “khanevade1” which has been aired live from IRIBTV1 ( The Iranian national TV Channel ONE) on daily basis since 1993 in the Iranian television, to design and present a scientific item which was something completely new.So, according to his experience in the simplification of science for the public throughout the years of his activities, he created a TV character with the name of “Science Cook” [20]who dressed up as a Chef, and not only didn’t cook at all, but also by using the kitchen appliances simplified science topics that everybody could understand. “Science Cook” quickly became a popular scientific character, he found many fans among Iranian families, and according the survey from viewers of khanevade1, science cook was chosen as the most popular item.
