AliveStats is a web traffic analysis tool founded on January 1, 2015.[2] AliveStats provides free web analytics services with unlimited usage to anyone. The company is based in New Delhi. The data from AliveStats are used to compute web usage share, for example.[3] AliveStats is used on more than 12,000 websites/blogs.[4]

AliveStats traffic data is directly derived from hits/page views (as opposed to unique visitors) from over 12,000 sites that use AliveStats, resulting in a total of over 1.5 million hits per month. Since its founding, AliveStats has tracked over 58 million unique users across its network of websites.

The project was founded by Vivek Raj and Nimish Gupta at the age of 20 during their college years. AliveStats received second place in the CSI Discover Thinking Project Contest 2015 at the North India level, managed by the Computer Society of India. The project was also selected for the inaugural Startup School by Y Combinator in 2017.[5]
