All Brahma Dharma Committee
All Brahma Dharma Committee or Sodou Brahma Dharma Samity (Bodo: दुलाराइ ब्रह्म घोरोम आफाद) is an Indian Religious organization. It was established on September 1, 1975 at Tribal Rest House, Guwahati. The first president of All Brahma Dharma Committee was Jadav Daimary. Jogeswar Brahma was the first General Secretary of Organization.[1] The ABDC/SBDS is made primarily of Bodo people, and indigenous ethnic group of North East India. It has 6 associations and is spread across 17 district of Assam and West Bengal. It has its head office in Guwahati.[2]
Conferences[edit]
The Conference of the All Brahma Dharma Committee is held annually. The first conference of All Brahma Dharma Committee was held on 1 September 1976 at Tribal Rest House, Guwahati. The Samity's 2017 session was held on 20 to 22 February at Rowta, Udalguri. The current conference will be held at Kajigaon, Kokrajhar from 28 to 30 January 2018.
