All Star Tower Defense is a tower defense game developed by Top Down Games on the gaming service Roblox. The focus of the game is for players to collect units and use them in matches to defend towers from incoming enemies. Most units in this game are based on characters from various different anime series.[1] The game has around 1.4 billion visits as of June 2021 according to its Roblox page.

All Star Tower Defense is a game in which players collect anime characters and use them to defend their base from incoming enemies that follow a certain path that varies from map to map. There are three game modes, those being Trial Mode, Infinite Mode, and Story Mode.[1] The units used in matches vary in rarity and each rarity has an increasingly low chance of receiving it via the summoning area. The different rarities are three stars (Rares), four stars (Ultra Rares), five stars (Mega Rares), and six stars (Omega Rares).[2] Three, four, and five stars are summoned using gems, which players can get by completing tasks, putting in codes, waiting in the game's time chamber, or doing story levels.[3] Players begin the game with the ability to equip only three units, but later get more when leveling up.[2]
