Development[edit]

In October 2010, Fox 2000 acquired Susannah Grant’s Beach Boys movie musical pitch, with Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, and John Stamos producing the film.[1] In May 2013, Michael Sucsy was in talks to direct the film and Deirdre O’Connor will write the script.[2] In August 2014, Grant returned and completed the script.[3] In 2018, Zadan won't produce the movie after his death and it is unknown if he will get a posthumous credit.[4] There have been no further developments on the project since Fox 2000 was shutdown.[5]

Casting[edit]

Cara Delevingne was revealed to play Caroline.[3]
