Allison Mackie is an American actress notable for her roles in the films Sliver, Rear Window, Original Sin, Almost Perfect and Lucky.[1] She has also appeared on televsion in eposiodes of ER, Law & Order and Diagnosis Murder. [2]

She was born on January 25, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[3] Her career began in New York at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater and the Actor's Studio.[4]
She is also a relative of writer and director C. Courtney Joyner.
Film[edit]
She has worked opposite Antonio Banderas, Angelina Jolie and Jack Thompson in Original Sin which was directed by Michael Cristofer and released in 2001. [5] Other actors she worked with were Rick Aviles in The Saint of Fort Washington, Timothy Busfield in The Souler Opposite, Jason Ritter in Our Very Own and Dreya Weber in The Gymnast.[6]

Her television work includeds Frasier in the episode Mixed Doubles [7] where she played the part of Adelle Childs, a lady who Niles meets in a singles bar. [8] In Diagnosis Murder she played Amy in the Man Overboard episode. [9]
Stage[edit]
She has worked under the direction of Joanne Woodward in the play La Ronde that ran in August 1997.[10] She has also worked opposite Frank Langella in Cyrano De Bergerac and Joanne Woodward in Candida.[11]
