Ally Benbrook

Ally Benbrook (October 1, 1951 - August 13, 2019)[1] was an internationally recognized watercolor artist. She had an unmistakable style and ability for capturing moments of time. Her most famous collection of paintings were her "Last Connections" series which highlighted the connections between homeless humans and their beloved dogs.

In 2013 her work was juried into 12 national and international exhibitions, and in 2014 she added another 11 exhibitions as well as 7 top awards including a Best in Show and an award from the New York Arts league. In 2015 her work was juried into 16 national and international shows including the prestigious Shenzhen Biennial in China.

Benbrook earned Signature Status in 8 National and International Watercolor Societies, and her paintings were selected by jury and judges into over 40 national shows. Her works are included in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, England, Sweden, and Germany.

Benbrook's final works were mixed-media pieces that chronicled her journey through treatment for stage-four lung cancer.
