Alto, Washington

Alto is an extinct town in Columbia County, in the U.S. state of Washington. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place.[1]
A post office called Alto was established in 1882, and remained in operation until 1903.[2] The community was so named on account of its lofty elevation.[3]
