Alvaro Diaz (nobleman)

Alvaro Diaz d. after 1198 was a Spanish nobleman, son of Diego Perez Obregon and Tenente of Siero, Asturias.[1] He witnessed a charter in 1188 under which subscribed to Alfonso IX of León's confirming the possessions of Santiago de compostela.[2]He married Teresa Perez Giron daughter of Pedro Rodriguez Giron.[3] They had seven children including Pedro Álvarez de Asturias.
