Background
After Jim Morrison Jr. founded The Doors Jr. on July 3, 2024, and begun to re-record The Doors music, adding his raunchy, raspy vocals and added lyrics, he recorded *Always Live* in February 2025. The legacy of his father, Jim Morrison, and the Doors lives on.

Following years of touring and performing tribute sets to his father’s music, Jim Morrison Jr. began developing *Always Live 2025* as both a homage and an evolution.[1] The album was recorded during the month of December 2025.
Morrison Jr.’s vocal style, often noted for its uncanny resemblance to his father’s, is paired with modern production techniques and a slightly heavier rock edge. The project aims to bridge the gap between the 1960s counterculture sound and contemporary rock audiences.
