Early life and education[edit]
Aman Gupta was born on 4 March 1982 in New Delhi, India. He completed his early education at Delhi Public School located in RK Puram, Delhi.[8]
After completing his Intermediate studies, he joined Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi from where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree. After doing B. Com, he obtained the degree of Chartered Accountant (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at the behest of his family members. After becoming a CA, he worked as an assistant manager at Citibank for about 2 years.
Personal Life[edit]
Jyoti Kochhar Gupta is Aman’s mother, while Neeraj Gupta is his father. He also has a brother named Anmol Gupta. His family is small and happy and they have been living in Delhi since Aman Gupta was born there. Aman married Priya Dagar in 2008 and they have two daughters, Mia and Adaa Gupta.[9]
Professional Life[edit]
After doing MBA, Aman did a job in the field of sales in a company, but he was not happy with that job and left the job after working for about two years. Then Aman started boAt company. In the year 2015, Aman Gupta along with Sameer Mehta started boAt. Within no time, this company became a popular company in India.
The boAt company did not start with a new idea and it was started to fulfil the need of the youth. At the time when the boAt company came, at that time only a few brands of headphones and earphones were present in the country. Rest of the Chinese and Japanese products were sold in India. And there was a lack of a good and indigenous brand in the Indian market and this was completed by boAt.[10]
