Aman Trikha (Hindi: अमन त्रिखा, Punjabi: ਅਮਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਖਾ) (born 12 December 1986) is a playback singer, performer, musician from Mumbai, a humble disciple of Hindustani Classical Music under the guidance of Ustad Maqbool Hussain Khan from Rampur Sahaswan Gharana , singing with versatility in many styles and languages like English, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani, Gujarati, Marathi, Bangla, Oriya. He is the singer of Achchhey Din Aane Waley Hain, the popular Loksabha Election 2014 Anthem of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Personal life[edit]
Inclined towards music since very childhood , he started playing keyboards on his own without any formal training. The panache & passion of music kept on rising by each day & he discovered that he could sing too in his 1st year Engineering in 2005, doing his B.E in Electronics & Telecommunication from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) , Kandivali(East), Mumbai.[1][2]
During his engineering days only, he started participating in city , state and national level singing competitions & won most of them mesmerizing everyone.
Awards & Nominations[edit]
- 2012: Won Man of The Series Award in the Indo-Pak musical reality show Sur Kshetra , featuring Asha Bhosle, Superhit Machine Himesh Reshammiya, Pop Sensation Atif Aslam , Gajendra Singh directing and Ayesha Takia hosting the show.[3][4]
- 2013: Nominated for Best Upcoming Musical Sensation Male Award in Stardust Awards.[5]
- 2013: Won the Best Favorite Singer Award in 19th Lions Club Gold Awards.
