Amber Romero (born August 17, 1999) is an American voice over artist and filmmaker. Romero is known for her various voice over roles, such as Parsley in High Guardian Spice[1] and as Zoe in Future-Worm!.[2]

Early life and career[edit]

Romero was born August 17, 1999 in San Diego, California to Rachelle and Armando Romero.[3] She moved with her family from San Diego to Los Angeles at the age of 15 so she could pursue her dream as an an actor, which began when she was 3 years old.[4] Her first role was Molly in the web series Clique Wars.[4][5] This was followed by, in 2015, playing a troublemaker in Further Instructions and a scientist in the Cedar Sequoia International TV series.

In 2016 she played Lizzy in The Breakout: A Rock Opera and Cecila in Lucia, Before and After.[3] Also in 2016 she voiced Zoe in Future-Worm!.[2]

In 2018 she played Cazadora in an action short of the same name, which she produced, and Brenda in a short entitled Shattered.[4][6] The same year, Romero voiced Melissa Bloodrose in the video game Epic Seven.[7]

She voiced Dorothy Conway in Should I Do It? the following year.[5] In 2020, she voiced Adriana in the TV series Solve: The Podcast.[8]

In 2021, she voiced Parsley in the animated series High Guardian Spice.[1][9] Romero also appeared in a short, Ocean Avenue, in 2021.[10]

Awards and nominations[edit]

In 2018, Romero was nominated for an Official Latino Film Festival Award and she won Best Actor in a Horror/Sci-Fi for her role as "Cazadora" in Cazadora.[11]

Personal life[edit]

Romero is of Mexican and Philippine descent.[12] She has a cat who she considered naming after the Kim Possible character, Shego.[13]
