Ambulatory disorders

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Ambulatory disorders are disorders that affects movement, or ambulation. In the medical terminology, the ambulation term unifies all locomotion practices, from walking to running, and including crawling on the floor.

First occurrences[edit]

The first ambulatory disorders were identified by Herman Kreih, a German doctor in 1602 as part of his thesis. A patient that crawled awkwardly was brought to his attention, starting a new field in medical science.
