Ambur-Papanasam Road is a 6.7km road which connects Tirunelveli - Shencottai Road and Ambasamudram - Papanasam - Upper Dam Road. This road runs through many villages and hamlets like Kizha Ambur, Kovankulam, Agastiyar Puram, Pasukidaivilai and Vikramasingapuram. Roads which joins this road are Pasuvai Road, Agastiyarpuram Road, Mudaliyarpatti- Karuthapillaiyur Road, Sivasailam Road (via-Poovankurichi and Karuthapillaiyur). There is only one railway crossing in this road which is near Kovankulam.
