The American College of the Middle East (ACM) is an institution of higher applied learning in Kuwait. Founded in 2003.[1], the College offers Diploma (associate) degree programs in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, and Technology[2].

The College has 1,970 enrolled students as of Fall 2019 and faculty and staff coming from 32 different countries.

Academics[edit]

The Private Universities Council of Kuwait (PUC) institutionally accredits the American College of the Middle East (ACM)[3].

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) officially accredits all the offered concentrations at the Department of Business Administration (Accounting, Financial Services, Human Resources Management, and Marketing)[4].

The four Engineering Technology programs offered through the Department of Engineering and Technology (Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology) are all accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET[5]

Campus[edit]

The campus includes educational buildings, green areas, restaurants and coffee shops, in addition to various other facilities. All areas inside the campus are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The facilities and services available on campus include the ACM Innovation Hub, Tawteen Career Center, Academic Advising Center, Tutoring Center. The ACM community also has access to a library building and a Sports Center.
