American Liberty University (ALU) is an unaccredited institution founded in 1999 in Orange County, California By Dr. Hamid Kevin Soltani.
ALU is approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (not an accrediting agency) since 2004. It was accredited in the United Kingdom by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), an agency whose recognition was revoked by the U.S. Department of Education. The ACICS had accredited Reagan National University, a sham university with no students.
ALU claims to offer PhDs in Business Administration, Traditional Medicine, and Theology, as well as "Post Doctoral Certificates".[1]
