American Lion is an upcoming HBO miniseries, based on the book of the same name, starring Sean Penn[1] as American President Andrew Jackson. It was originally scheduled to air in late 2017,[2] but has since been delayed. As of January 2018, HBO has not announced a new date, but it is on schedule for a 2018 premiere.[3]
