Dead Day is upcoming supernatural television series series created by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson for Peacock. The series is based upon the 2020 comic book of the same name by Ryan Parrott, and follows an ensemble of characters as they navigate the annual “dead day,” when for one night the dead come back to complete unfinished business — be that to celebrate a night back on earth or to torment the living.

Production

In January 2022, Peacock officially gave the show a series order, with Plec and Williamson set to serve as co-showrunners and writers on the series. Parrott will also serve as a consultanting producer on the series.
