American Media Distribution is a news and event coverage firm acting as a journalist and reporter subcontractor. American Media Distribution utilizes journalists and independent freelance reporters around the globe to cover news and events either for original content to be sent on their wire, or subcontracted by a publisher or media outlet client. American Media Distribution sells content and subcontracts reporters for assignments to national and international media companies ranging from television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and online entities.

American Media Distribution's corporate headquarters is in New York, NY, and was founded in 2006 by splitting off from a plasma TV advertising software firm. American Media Distribution has offices all around the US and is in over 14 countries around the world. Mailing offices are in Howell, NJ.

American Media Distribution also facilitates satellite coverage for news and entertainment events. This service also includes rentals of satellite uplink trucks and video production personnel.
