Amika Hattan (八反安未果 Hattan Amika, born October 3, 1980) is a Japanese singer and businesswoman. She signed a recording contract with Pony Canyon after winning the audition The Japan Auditioon in 1997. In 1999, Hattan won the Best New Artist at the 41st Japan Record Awards.
Born in Tokorozawa, Saitama and raised in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Hattan was a junior ballerina, competing at the Prix de Lausanne in 1997. After signing the recording contract, Hattan appeared in the television music variety show, The Night of Hit Parade for two years. In November 1998, she released her debut single, "Miss You: Wasurenaide". Her debut album Autumn Breeze was released in September 1999, and reached number two in Japan. The album yielded one top-ten single, "Shooting Star", the cover of HIM.
In August 2010, Hattan founded the food import company Next Table in Shibuya, Tokyo, and opened a Hawaiian cafeteria NaniNani in Toyosu, Kōtō, Tokyo as an owner. Currently she is signed to Rising Records as a singer and Zeus, LLC as a talento.
