Toko Furuuchi (古内 東子 Furuuchi Toko, born 1 November 1972) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and record producer.
Furuuchi, known by the nickname 'The Goddess of Love,' has produced numerous songs centered on themes of romance, garnering particularly strong support from working Japanese women of her generation. In 1996, her single 'Dare Yori Suki na no ni' became a smash hit, reaching the top 40 in Japan, and her 1998 album Mahō no Te (Magic Hands) achieved the number-one position. Alongside her activities as a singer, she has also written songs for numerous artists, including V6, Chemistry, and Ryoko Hirosue.
Personal life
Furuuchi announced her marriage to a non-celebrity man in 2012, and in 2014 reported the pregnancy and birth of her first child.
